Our commitment

This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We designed it that way from the start rather than retrofitting it.

What we have done

  • All text meets or exceeds a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background; most exceeds 7:1.
  • Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
  • The site works without JavaScript — every form falls back to a working submission, and all content is in the HTML.
  • Headings are properly nested, landmarks are used correctly and there is a skip link to the main content.
  • Animation respects the prefers-reduced-motion setting.
  • Text reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320px and can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content.
  • Form fields have persistent, programmatically associated labels and error messages are announced.

Known limitations

Third-party embeds — a booking system or review widget added in future — may not fully meet these standards. Where that happens we will provide a phone and WhatsApp alternative to complete the same task, as we do now.
