Dishwashers for sale
New dishwashers from £279, delivered and installed across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire — with your old one taken away and recycled.
We supply and fit dishwashers in every common format: 60cm freestanding, 60cm fully integrated, semi-integrated with a visible control panel, slimline 45cm for tight kitchens, and compact tabletop units for flats and annexes. Brands include Bosch, Neff, Siemens, Miele, Beko, Hotpoint, Indesit, AEG, Zanussi and Candy. Because we also repair these machines across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, we can tell you which models we see back with pump and heater faults and which ones we rarely visit at all. Installation is done by our own engineers, not a delivery contractor. We connect to your existing supply and waste, fit the decor door and set the hinge tension and worktop brackets on integrated machines, check for leaks under load, and — importantly in this area — set the internal water softener to the correct hardness step for your postcode before we leave. That one step meaningfully extends the machine's life here. We also fill the salt and rinse aid on handover and show you how to top them up. Your old dishwasher is taken away for WEEE recycling at no extra cost. Reconditioned machines are available with a full 6-month parts and labour guarantee.
What we sell
Before you buy: is repairing cheaper?
Dishwashers repair well because most faults are drainage, sealing or scale rather than catastrophic mechanical failure. Use the 50% rule against a replacement cost of £350–£550 for a decent mid-range machine, or £450–£700 for an integrated one once you account for fitting and transferring the decor door. Our charge is a £90 call-out covering the visit, the diagnosis and the labour, so the part is the only figure that moves — and on a machine under eight years old the common parts sit well inside the 50% line. Typical lifespan is 8–10 years for mid-range, 12–15 for premium brands like Miele. The clearest replace decision is a failed wash pump and flow-through heater assembly on a budget machine over eight years old — the part alone can approach half the price of a new appliance. There is also a strong environmental case for repair here. A dishwasher contains a significant amount of stainless steel and copper, and its manufacturing footprint far exceeds a few years of running emissions. Modern machines also use less water than washing by hand — around 9–12 litres a cycle against 40 or more at the sink — so keeping a working dishwasher running is genuinely the low-impact choice. We'll always tell you when the numbers say replace, and we can supply, fit and take the old machine away.

from £90 call-out — that covers the visit, the diagnosis and the labour. Parts are the only extra, quoted for your approval before we fit anything. No hourly rates. 6 months guarantee on parts and labour.
If your machine is worth repairing, we'll tell you — even though selling you a new one earns us more. That's the whole reason people call us back.
How to choose the right dishwasher
Place settings and real capacity
A full-size 60cm machine holds 12–15 place settings; a slimline 45cm holds 9–10; a tabletop holds 6. A place setting is a standardised set of plates, glass and cutlery, so treat it as a comparison figure rather than a literal capacity. For a family of four, 13 settings with a flexible cutlery tray is the practical sweet spot.
Integrated, semi-integrated or freestanding
Fully integrated hides completely behind a decor door with the controls on the top edge; semi-integrated leaves the control panel visible, which some people prefer for checking progress. Freestanding is cheapest and easiest to move house with. Integrated machines need a standard 600mm wide aperture with 820–870mm adjustable height.
Noise level matters in open-plan kitchens
Dishwashers run for two to four hours, often in the evening, so the dB figure counts more than for most appliances. Anything at 46dB or below is genuinely quiet; 42–44dB is barely audible in the next room; 50dB and above is intrusive in an open-plan space. This is one spec worth paying up for.
Third cutlery drawer versus a basket
A top-mounted third drawer takes cutlery, utensils and small lids, freeing a surprising amount of room in the lower basket — often the difference between one load and two. The trade-off is slightly reduced height for tall glasses in the upper rack. Most people who have used one won't go back.
Water softener setting range
Check the machine's softener can be set high enough for our water. Almost all major brands cover up to around 50 Clark degrees, which is fine, but some very cheap models have a limited range. Given our supply sits near 20 Clark degrees, adequate softener capacity is a genuine buying criterion here.
Cycle length and eco programmes
The eco cycle is what the energy label is measured on, and it typically runs three to four hours at around 50°C — efficient but slow, and it dries less well. Check the machine also has a sensible one-hour 60°C programme for everyday use. A machine with only long cycles frustrates households quickly.
Drying technology
Condensing drying (the standard) relies on residual heat and a stainless tub, and needs rinse aid to work well. Active fan drying performs better on plastics. Zeolite drying, used on some Bosch and Siemens models, uses a mineral that gives off heat as it absorbs moisture and is the most effective of the three, at a price premium.
Leak protection
Look for a full aqua-stop system — a double-walled inlet hose with a valve at the tap end plus a base tray float. Given dishwashers sit under worktops next to fitted units, a leak that goes unnoticed causes far more damage than the appliance is worth. It is standard on Bosch group machines and worth seeking out elsewhere.
Do you install the dishwasher and take the old one away?
Yes, both are included. We connect to your supply and waste, fit and align the decor door on integrated machines, run a full test cycle checking for leaks, and set the water softener for local hardness. The old machine goes for WEEE recycling at no extra charge.
Can you fit a dishwasher where there isn't one currently?
In most cases yes, provided there is a suitable unit space and the plumbing can reach. We can fit a new supply tee and a waste spigot to the sink trap as part of the installation. If the run is long or the unit needs modifying, we'll assess it and quote before the day.
Will you transfer my existing kitchen door onto the new machine?
Usually yes, if the door size and fixing pattern are compatible with the new appliance. We check the dimensions before ordering and tell you up front if a new door will be needed. Hinge tension is adjusted so the door doesn't drop or spring back.
How soon can you deliver and fit?
Stocked models are typically installed within two to three working days across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, with a timed slot. Integrated installations are booked with a slightly longer window because door fitting and alignment take extra time.
Do you sell dishwashers?
Yes, fully machines are stripped, descaled, have worn seals and filters replaced and are run through a complete test cycle. They come with our 6-month parts and labour guarantee, and are typically around half the price of an equivalent new machine.
Should I get a slimline or a full-size dishwasher?
Choose full-size 60cm if you have the space — the running cost per item washed is lower and you'll run fewer cycles. Slimline 45cm makes sense in Cambridge terraces and flats where the extra 150mm of worktop matters more than capacity. For one or two people, slimline is genuinely sufficient.
