Heater fault — the programme stops part way through the wash.
That is what the machine is reporting. What is actually causing it varies — the same code can come from a blockage, a worn part or a failed sensor, and the only way to know which is to test it on the machine.
We diagnose it properly, tell you what it is in plain English and what it will cost to put right before anything is done. If it turns out not to be worth repairing, we will say so.
Behind them are mains voltage, a heating element and, on a washing machine, a drum that can hold thirty litres of water. Switching the machine off at the socket and checking the door is properly shut is as far as it is worth going on your own.
